Second โalbumโ I made
Also, Aged 13.
I was beginning to explore and experiment with textures within sounds in this stage.
Original description of the album in 2020 below:
"The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It can't be organised or regulated. It isn't true that everyone should follow one path. Listen to your own truth.โ
-Ram Dass"
"As we trot along this cobbled path,
passing leaves of green and buds mid-bloom,
life seems perfect; the darkness of night at bay with all its gloom.
Our carriage of white portrays rescue from God's wrath.
The sun is radiant and the birds rejoice in its warmth.
We're passing through a town, where a spiritual awakening will soon to spring.
as joyously as the singing birds, we smile on the people.
In passing a church, we're in awe of the steeple. As we glare upon the sacred place of the lost soul, Brighton. And enter the โholy place of our lord.โ Is what her father referred to it as anyway...
Trudging through the mud on the way home from school, the tormented soul, Milton, would take the other path home, to avoid the devilish voices he hears.. Crossing streams of filth and trees plastered with sparkling green leaves, crying tears of crystal spheres as they land and shatter into a million pieces on the hood of his jacket, to then trickle and tumble down the back of his spine.
Waking from his slumber one dull day, Milton realised something, something wasnโt quite right... He went to stand up, however felt he was at a slight angle, โThis is oddly unusual..โ Milton said to himself, he had one leg shorter than his other, his left leg was shorter than his right... Milton shook it off and didnโt take much notice up until his arrival at school... The comments and raging floods of taunting words came flowing in like a swarm of bees, Milton couldnโt take it anymore, he realised that it was a bigger problem than he thought... As a block to the crowds of howling insults, Milton wrote a small simple melody that he somehow remembers from a past life, he heard it before and was attracted to the sounds. He plays it in his head over and over on his mini turntable planted in his head... the sounds from the magical device seem to block out the comments. Feeling alone as ever, Milton takes a tear filled walk home, trudging through the mud, and trickling rain, past the corner shops and through the tunnels, Milton makes it home, where he is greeted by his father, in which whom he does not have a great spiritual bond with.
The other side of the lifeless town, lived Brighton, a deeply religious, yet lost soul, in need for an adventure, she is the curious one, with her spirit far out on a quest, in which it orbits the rings around the sun. Brighton, one day wakes up to see that she however, has one leg shorter than the other, but this time, it was the different leg to Milton, it was her right leg shorter than her left, this was strange, as Brighton was picked on for being too tall, so she and her father, who were deeply religious, were also concerned about it. Brightonโs father, Eric, was heavily convinced it was the work of an evil spirit,
Brighton had an overflow of statements and commands from the other students at her school too, she also, plays a song from her past life. Running home in tears, leaping over logs and splashing into muddy puddles, millions glass balls fall from the sky and shatter before her.
Brighton and Milton both get home at around the same time. A brass cylinder, wrapped in gold sheets with strange engravings was found on Miltonโs desk, a strange door was found behind Brightonโs poster, her curiosity got the better of her, and she opened and crawled through the fleshy, green tunnel, it lead to a dark grey smokey room, at the opposite of the room, fell a young boy, who in his hand had a similar sort of cylinder. This boy was Milton, his shoes and clothes covered in mud, soaking wet from the storming heavens, and there was Brighton, tall and in tears, covered in mud and wet also, they both walked towards each other, leaning to different angles.. Milton placed the cylinder in Brightonโs box. The lid to the cylinder raised open and an angel, covered in frost and snow, began to dance around, singing with her vast wings. Milton and Brighton link arms and dance around the room to accordion keys, and due to their shorter legs, herโs being right, shorter than left, his being left, shorter than right, allowed them to dance in a perfect circle... The circle went on and on and faster and faster, until they began to levitate, and lights and sounds shon from every corner, as they reached closer towards the light. A connection, strong and forceful formed between the pairs hearts, lead to each other and cried out for a lover to bring. As their hearts blend into one, they reach enlightenment, full enlightenment, and they would both live happily together in the next realms. the other land. the thoughts."
Thank you for taking some time to read and to listen to this, I have worked extremely hard on this project, I hope you enjoy your travels.
